Also known as a ‘Letterman’ jacket, the Varsity Bomber style dates as far back as the 1930s, historically, worn as a uniform, the patches-emblazoned jacket traditionally symbolised the initials of the school or establishment that an athlete represented.

Our Marine Blue Varsity Jacket is a classic take on the silhouette, following on from our black colour-way with a fresh take that's perfect for summer. The aim was to create a piece that everyone could wear, the design is timeless and sticks within the traditional means that everyone can recognise. With that in mind, we opted for a fleece fabric to keep the garment as comfortable as possible. The iconic bouclé Faded Store ‘FS’ is backed up with crisp script embroidery that balances the front of the garment, whilst the contrasting off-white sleeves break up the blue base.

The Brown Emblem Varsity explores the identity of American sports teams, taking inspiration from iconic baseball teams in the States. We wanted to combine Chet’s love for American Sports to create something that truly reflects what a varsity jacket is, bringing in large boucle branding to the front and back, alongside logos on the sleeve which help bring the design to life. The year we were founded has been brought in across the branding devices, alongside creating a team badge that the Faded customers can now support! We opted for an easy-wearing brown, similar to our best-selling colour from late last year, which can be easily mixed into summer tones when styling, whilst also working with darker shades and blacks.
